1. How will you act in such situation? A lot of employers have turned to using 'killer questions' or 'shock tactics', such as these: 'Tell me something about yourself that you have never told anyone.' 'Which three famous people would you invite to a dinner party and why?' 'We have employed people from your university, and they have not been good. Can you tell us why you think you'd do better?' Killer questions often come early in the interview and are aimed at throwing the candidate off quard. By surprising the candidate with an original or difficult question, interviewers can get an honest reaction and an unplanned response. They also want to see candidates think through their responses calmly. Within the public and private sectors, language skills can be used within many different careers and job roles. Apart from the most obvious careers such as translating, interpreting and teaching, the ability to speak another language is a huge benefit when used alongside other key skills. 2. How do you use language skills and knowledge received on courses? Companies who operate on a global scale always recruit employers who can speak an additional language; the language and level of proficiency will, of course, depend on the role. ATTRACT EMPLOYERS Speaking a different language can set you apart from other students and graduates when applying for an internship or graduate job. Studying and being adept in another language can help you develop a range of skills. These include flexibility, independence, attention to detail and communication. Being culturally aware and having sound knowledge is also attractive for employers as this can help them break into different international markets. European languages are preferred, namely English, German, French, and Spanish. Mandarin and Arabic are also very common international languages. As you are a young woman will you apply the female charm persuading the chief to allow to interview to you?
I'm 100% dedicated to going above and beyond when it comes to fulfilling my responsibilities. That being said, I also know that it's important to take care of myself to ensure my long-term success. I try not to work when I'm on official vacation. But, before I leave for a vacation, I always make sure all my duties are covered before signing off, and I do make sure my supervisor has my personal cell phone number should an emergency arise. 4. How will you motivate the respondent on conversation with you? Interviews are among the most challenging and rewarding forms of measurement. They require a personal sensitivity and adaptability as well as the ability to stay within the bounds of the designed protocol. Here, I describe the preparation you need to do for an interview study and the process of conducting the interview itself. The interviewer has to find the respondent. In door-to-door surveys, this means being able to locate specific addresses. Often, the interviewer has to work at the least desirable times (like immediately after dinner or on weekends) because that’s when respondents are most readily available. 5. How will you eliminate competitors not only from your department, but also from other magazine? Standing out from your competition is critical to your company’s success. While most people understand that concept, far too many businesses fail to put it into practice. 6. Whether the information about celebrity‘s preferences will help you? Purpose – This research has been conducted with the aim of determining if celebrity endorsers in political party advertising have a significant impact on UK voter intentions. The use of celebrity endorsements is commonplace in the USA, but little is known about its effects in the UK. This research also aims to incorporate the use of celebrity endorsements in political party advertising with the political salience construct. Political salience represents how prominent politics and political issues are in the minds of the eligible voter. Design/methodology/approach – A 2 (endorser: celebrity; non-celebrity)×2 (political salience: high; low) between-subjects factorial design experiment was used. The results show that celebrity endorsements do play a significant role in attitudes towards the political advert, attitudes towards the endorser and voter intention. However, this effect is significantly moderated by political salience. Findings – The results show that low political salience respondents were significantly more likely to vote for the political party when a celebrity endorser is used. However, the inverse effect is found for high political salience respondents. Practical implications – The results offer significant insights into the effect that celebrity endorsers could have in future elections and the importance that political salience plays in the effectiveness of celebrity endorsement. If political parties are to target those citizens that do not actively engage with politics then the use of celebrity endorsements would make a significant impact, given the results of this research. Originality/value – This research would be of particular interest to political party campaigners as well as academics studying the effects of advertising and identity salience. Download 32 Kb.
