Many places, such as the State Museum of the History of the Timurids in Tashkent, Hazrat Imam, Imam Bukhari in Samarkand, Jalaluddin Manguberdi in Urganch, and Alpomish memorial complexes in Termiz, were built and renovated in honor of independence. After gaining independence, our nationality, spirituality, values and culture were restored. Over the past 25 years, Uzbekistan has changed beyond recognition. President Islam Karimov states that "We cannot live in the old way from now on, and time itself will not allow us to live like this." In our country, the creative work is accelerating day by day: magnificent buildings, heart-warming parks, and eye-pleasing bridges are being built in our country.



The Law on the State Emblem of the Republic of Uzbekistan was adopted on July 2, 1992 at the X session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The national coat of arms of the Republic of Uzbekistan consists of an image of the sun shining over a flowery valley and a belt with wheat ears on the left and cotton bolls on the right.


At the top of the coat of arms, an eight-pointed star is depicted as a symbol of the unity of the republic: a crescent moon and a star within eight points are the auspicious symbols of Muslims.
In the center of the coat of arms, the wings of the legendary bird Huma, a symbol of courage, nobility and sacrifice, are written. These symbols and symbols represent the hopes and dreams of our people for peace, goodness, happiness and prosperity.

In particular, in the global innovation index, Uzbekistan rose by 7 places in 2021, took the 86th place among 132 countries and entered the top 10 countries with the fastest rise. In the 2021 Corruption Perception Index of Transparency International, Uzbekistan improved its position by 6 places and took 140th place among 180 countries.
