Generally recommended for vines and tree

crops as watering pattern can develop as

plants grow.

Only water the area of land necessary.

Very good control of irrigation is possible.

Requires water free of sediment etc, and good

filtration.

Can use more saline water than other

methods (leaves not wet).

& disease management.
