On October 18-19, 2016, in the city of Tashkent, recognized as the "capital of Islamic culture", the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation dedicated to the theme "Education and Enlightenment - the road to peace and creativity" was held in the next 43rd session. XXXVI Tashkent - "The Capital of Islamic Culture" In 2007, the Islamic Organization for Education, Science and Culture-AYSESCO declared Tashkent the "Capital of Islamic Culture". For the great contribution of Uzbekistan and the Uzbek people to the development of Islamic culture and civilization, the city of Tashkent received such a high recognition. At the heart of such a great recognition, in the years of independence, the extensive efforts made in our country to restore, study and promote our national values, the holy religion of Islam, the rich scientific heritage of our great saints and scholars, beautify their sites, and preserve our ancient monuments. the rightful recognition of the great works by the entire Islamic world is embodied. Today, the city of Tashkent is literally becoming a city that embodies our national values, both historical and modern development achievements. In this blessed land, there are Islamic monuments such as Hazrat Imam complex, Koqaldosh and Abdul Qasim madrasa, International Islamic Academy, Tashkent Islamic Institute named after Imam Bukhari, Koqaldosh secondary special educational institution and Khadichai Kubro women's and girls' secondary special educational institution. There are educational centers that teach the basics of our holy religion. XXXVII Tashkent is the capital of Islamic culture. This blessed country has an incomparable place in the development of world science and culture.
