INTRODUCTION
The influence of national pedagogy and oral folk art can be seen in the Uzbek children's literature from the time of independence. This influences the strengthening of the national color in the works, the awareness of folk wisdom, the upbringing of positive qualities, and the enrichment of children's speech with national concepts and terms. Uzbek fiction is known for its use of human emotions and experiences to address spiritual and educational issues within a socio-political context.
Social history studies of the 18th century in France have revealed that when the police searched them, young peasants and thieves had various cheap prints on their bodies. Even in the 18th and 19th centuries, when children's books were published more frequently, the majority of families could not afford them. There were still affordable printing options for the general public, and some astute publishers also began to offer extremely affordable printing for kids. Stories, books, magazines, and poems written for children are referred to as children's literature or juvenile literature. Genre or reader age are the two categories used to classify contemporary children's literature. The origins of children's literature can be traced to classic tales like fairy tales, which weren't recognized as such until the eighteenth century, and songs, which were part of a larger oral tradition and were shared by adults with children before books existed. Before printing was invented, it was difficult to track the evolution of early children's literature. Many well-known "children's" stories were first written for an adult audience before being adapted for a younger one, even after printing became widely available. Numerous works of literature, frequently with a moral or religious message, have been written specifically for children since the fifteenth century. Children's literature has been influenced by a variety of philosophical and scientific viewpoints, including those of Charles Darwin and John Locke, as well as by religious sources like Puritan traditions. The "Golden Age of Children's Literature" was the period between the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, when many classic children's books were published. For today's kids, learning to read at a young age is essential, so teachers pay close attention to the books they choose and the caliber of their content. Reading promotes calmness, relaxation, worldly exploration, increased knowledge, social interaction, and even confidence building (Young Readers Foundations, 2018). However, the global pandemic has impacted the publishing industry and caused reading difficulties in kids, which has led to a reevaluation of early reading abilities and the role of adults in kids' reading experiences (Cabrera, 2020; United Nations, 2021). A variety of children's books need to be improved, with a focus on phonological awareness, the combination of literacy skills, and the participation of supportive people.
