110 technology - a qualitatively new form of learning in which the teacher agrees method for the study of new material to the method of application of computer technology, keeping continuity in relation to traditional teaching techniques [2]. Multimedia technology is fully fitting into the concept of development of computer technology training. It should be emphasized that the multimedia technology have the same theoretical foundations as the computer technology training. Properly considered multimedia technology training as a modern stage in the development of computer technology training, using didactic possibilities of the modern computer, the new software engineering tools and environments for the development of learning software. Figure 1 shows the main features and applications of multimedia technology in teaching in the development of computer- based training and communication [3]. Multimedia presentation is one of the most interesting and effective ways to address many of the pressing problems of teaching. Multimedia presentations - a way of presenting information using a computer program that combines the dynamics, sound and image, those factors that most long-held note. Teaching disciplines, based on an experimental basis, requires the most visually reasoned presentation. This is facilitated by the undoubted benefits of multimedia: - The union of graphics, text, audio and video in a single information environment; - Interactivity and the ability to easily update information; - Compact and easy to move between computers; - Emotional appeal and visibility; - Versatility and others. However, there are disadvantages of multimedia presentations: - Quick presentation and the presence of parallel streams of information (speech lecturer, text and graphics slide - show); - Risk of high rate of lecture and slide transitions; - Repetitive nature of presentation (template); - The probability of failure of the color or font (e.g., small, unreadable text); - The lack of phasing when playing complex drawings when students see a huge final scheme, not being able to sketch it, and others [4]. It is important to note that many of the shortcomings can be overcome and not due to the use of computer presentations, and failed their construction and use. Seems promising extension of the enormous potential of media to further improve the educational process. The introduction of the presentation in the employment structure is able to solve problems such as control of knowledge, individualization and comfort during training, non-linear presentation of information, taking into account different types of perceptual learning. Thanks to its use, the students observed concentration, deeper and more rapid perception of the material, increasing interest in the study of the subject. This tactic of presenting the material ensures the development of thinking and cognitive activity of students, promotes motivation to learn. To create a multimedia presentation can use the following computer programs: Microsoft Word allows you to format your text, Microsoft PowerPoint makes available action with animated pictures, audio and video files, Microsoft Publisher allows publication of material in the form of thematic booklets, Microsoft Internet Explorer allows you to work with network Resources Internet [5]. |
