Английсĸий проеĸт About WCECCE2022 From 14 to 16 November 2022, the World Conference on Early Childhood Care and Education (WCECCE) will be held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The world conference will reaffirm the right of every young child to quality care and education from birth and urge Member States to renew and expand their commitment to and investment in ensuring that access of all girls and boys to quality early childhood development, care and pre-primary education so that they are ready for primary education World Conference on Early Childhood Care and Education The overarching goal of the WCECCE is to renew and expand Member States' political commitment and engagement to Develop ambitious, relevant, and culturally appropriate ECCE policies Put in place effective and accountable ECCE systems, multi-stakeholder partnerships and services Increase and improve investment in ECCE as an essential and integral part of their strategies for attaining lifelong learning societies and sustainable development The conference is hosted by the Republic of Uzbekistan and organized by UNESCO. Early childhood fundamental rights and services are the foundation for achieving positive child development, family well-being, lifelong learning, and sustainable development; therefore, all nations should give their highest priority to providing quality early childhood care and education by 2030. Implementation of effective early childhood care and education policies and services enables countries to protect and guarantee the rights of every child. It also allows for maximum return on investment into child and family development, to transform society and build better communities Policy Day - 15 November 2022 The Policy Day will start with an opening session by Heads of State and Government and UNESCO Director-General followed by four high-level sessions (15-16 November), around the main thematic areas: (1) inclusion, quality, and wellbeing, (2) educators, teachers and caregivers, (3) policy, governance and finance, and (4) innovations. Each of the high-level plenary sessions will comprise two parts: panel discussion and national statement segments. The panel discussions will provide a space for Ministers of Member States and executives of international organizations to exchange views on the four thematic areas of the Conference. The national statements will shed light on progress, challenges and opportunities Commitment Day - 16 November 2022 The Commitment Day will start with visits to ECCE institutions, followed by a high-level session and the adoption of the Tashkent declaration and its Call for commitments. In between, a 1-hour session will allow the representatives of different entities to share key messages including its linkages to the Transforming Education Summit follow-up World Conference on Early Childhood Care and Education opened in Tashkent Minister of Preschool Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan was elected as chair of the World Conference on Early Childhood Care and Education The World Conference on Early Childhood Care and Education was held in our capital with the support of the Ministry of Preschool Education and UNESCO. More than 1500 participants from 200 countries came to Tashkent to discuss the next 10-year agenda of preschool education. Commenting on the program of the forum, the Minister of Preschool Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Agrippina Shin, noted the following: - As the host country, we can show our best practices, present the social component of preschool education in the country, and the international community. we can focus on problems and ways to solve them. Personally, as a minister, I aim to expand cooperation with the help of this platform in order to attract investment and experience in the field of preschool education in Uzbekistan.
