Carnivores of the order Carnivora include wild and domestic mammals of the canine, feline, mustelid and bear families.
OPTION TECHNIQUE
External inspection.First, the identifying characteristics of the animal are determined: pitchfork, breed, gender, age, color (color), special features, body type and abnormalities in the exterior, condition of fatness.
The age of an animal is determined by its teeth. Dogs have 42 teeth (12 incisors, 4 canines, 26 molars). Like all carnivores, the fangs are the most developed, with pointed tops.
The puppies are covered with fur, but are still blind and have no teeth. Eyes open on the 10th–14th day after birth. Primary canines and incisors on the upper jaw erupt on the 20th–25th day after birth, on the lower jaw - a few days later. By the age of one month, the puppy has all its front baby teeth. The incisors change between the 4th and 5th months on both jaws almost simultaneously: first the hooks, a few days later the middle ones and even later the edges. Permanent canines erupt at the age of 5–6 months: first the maxillary, and then the mandibular (10–12 days later). By 12 months, the dog has all its permanent teeth. By 15 months, the lower hooks begin to wear off. At 2.5 years old, the middle incisors are worn away. At the age of 3, the upper jaw's hooks begin to wear off, and at 3.5 years, the upper jaw's hooks are erased. Their surface takes on a quadrangular shape. At 4 years of age, the middle incisors of the upper jaw and the edges of the lower jaw begin to wear off. At 5 years old, the fangs show signs of wear and become dull. At 6 years of age, the edges of the upper jaw no longer have protrusions. At the age of 7, the hooks of the lower jaw acquire an obverse oval shape; at the age of 8–9 years, the lower middle incisors take this shape; at the age of 9–10, the upper hooks take on this shape. At 7–8 years old, the fangs become blunt, flattened on both sides, and yellow. Teeth begin to fall out at the age of 10–12 years.
