ANNOTATION

Vectors of the basic triple change at point movement on a curve. To describe this modification, it is necessary to be able to calculate their derivatives on natural parametre. It is especially convenient to know expansions of these derivatives on vectors of the basic triple.

This final project work is about teaching the theoretical issues of “Frenet formulas” in subject "Differential geometry". This theme, which can be used in teaching theoretical issues and their comments on the content and nature of edition. Represented diploma project is enriched by modern pedagogical technologies like Case-Study, Zigzag, Analysis of notions. This method is explained in the theoretical training module of "Differential geometry" by the coverage of the topic of discussion “Frenet formulas” .

The introduction of diploma project is followed by two chapters and the conclusion.

“Claster” teaching method was also used to describe in more detailed and to improve the subject. Scientific and practical parts of the subject were enriched by using modern textbooks of distinguished scientists.

As a sample, applying tasks were given the listeners to improve their skills. Some theoretical and practical tasks were taken from foreign authors like John Oprea, Differential geometry and its applications , 1997 by Prentice-Hall, Inc. were used as a reference. These literatures were often referred to in this diploma project. These books were made use of in this diploma project.
