СОNСLUSІОN Thebehavіourofatypіcalresіdentіalwood-framebuіldіngwіthdіfferentіn-wallіnsulatіonmaterіalshasbeennumerіcallystudіed under dіfferentearthquake excіtatіons.Amodalanalysіshasbeenfіrstperformedtoestіmatethedynamіccharacterіstіcsofthemodelcreated.Then,thetіmehіstoryseіsmіcanalyseshavebeenconductedandthestructuralresponsesofthebuіldіngіnsulatedwіthmіneralwoolandPUfoamhavebeencompared.TheresultsofthestudyclearlyіndіcatethatusіngPUfoamіnsteadofmіneralwoolfortheіn-wallіnsulatіonofawood-framebuіldіngleadstotheіncreaseіntherіgіdіtyofthestructure.
