Task 1
The third graph, which includes price level, GDP of Latvia and the EU as a ratio, and C., is my choice out of the four equations since it is the most appropriate for calculating wages in Latvia. The given factors demonstrate importance. we know that there are three different approaches to determine significance? They are DW statistics, t-statistics, and p-value. Let's look at the first t-stat: CENA is 21,71, the ratio is 6,03, and C is equal to 117. In this case, we can see that all of the factors are important because the t-stat is smaller than the stated factors. The second check is the 0.05 p-value, where all probability indicates that they are 0.00, and if the values less than the 0.05 p-value, As a result, the p-value is greater than the probability factors' significance. The final one is DW, which indicates a value of around 2, indicating the absence of autocorrelation.
Task2
multiple and single regression analysis
in excel in data tools tab there is a regression choice there we will put x and y values where we gonna analyze, we will not forget to tick the residuals to provide error, difference and all the predicted values.
Y- is dependable variable, X is the independable variable
We will determine the significance that we discussed in task 1 using the values obtained from the regression. The correlation coefficient allows us to determine the component that has the strongest relationship to the other variables by checking the additional data. The procedure is to copy all column residuals and place them next to the column but one row below this would be -residuals. This can be seen in the following step, below residuals, where we will perform residuals minus -residual. The next step would be to place the residuals in a new column next to the -residuals, perform (residuals) minus (-residuals), multiply by (^2), add up all the numbers from the computation done before, and then go to the following step. The following step will be the next to last column we conduct computation there will be a residuals column multiplied by each row residual (^2). As with the step above, we will sum up all taken values from columns and taken sums from columns we will divide from first to second, and the taken value would be DW. In order to determine the third option, we will look at the values in the DW list and pick the right values from there. These values will be dL and dU in the 5% significance of the DW list, and we will get this value from the number of observations and factors. The next stage will include creating graphs. Using the residuals column, we will create a line graph so that we can observe how the line graph changes over time. The residuals and -residuals column will be used to create the following scatter graph, where we will see the dots around the graph and place a circle; if all the dots are in the circle, autocorrelation won't exist; if not, autocorrelation will.
