If we look at the past, we see that ambassador is one of the main important jobs for the state’s role in the world. Being an ambassador should be considered as one of the dangerous job, because they may meet a lot of challenges and obstacles in his/her career as an ambassador of one country in another country. Let’s take being an ambassador in Afghanistan.
As we know, there lasted big war against terrosists and taliban community beginning from 1979 and it lasted more than 40 years. If we try to compare salaries of ambassadors for different areas, there we witness big difference, ambassadors of other countries in Afghanistan are usually paid more than others. We can list the problems and obstacles that cause high salaries for ambassadors in Afghanistan.
The first reason is the low level of security in Afghanistan. An example of this is the frequent terrorist attacks. There are different terrost groups such as Al Qoida, Al shabab and Al Nusrah and it is tricky to stand against them in all actions. Talibans are considered as terroristic community, but since they had come to the direction in Afghanistan, they are trying to be recognised by other states and make some impediments. Uzbekistan is only country that has good relationship with them.
Afghanistan is economically poor country and it is the second challenge of being ambassador in this country. Living conditions are really terrible and very poor this cause inconvenience to ambassadors. Ambassadors can avoid these pitfalls with the help of their government only.
In conclusion, being an ambassdor is tough job at all, even in every country. They challenge a lot of obstacles and problematic situations, baffling aggreements and deals, but that are their job and only through finding solutions is appropriate way.
