translated into Uzbek from the work "Count Monto Cristo (Prisoner of the Castle of If)". In it, 
almost no phrase was translated into Uzbek in the form of a phrase, but in the form of a 
simple word, phrase, sentence.

In this communication situation, one can observe the mental state of a person 
who left home thirty years ago, lived in a different country, in a different national-cultural 
environment, and was completely cut off from the communication environment of his native 
language, and the problem of the chain of competence being broken. Deviation from the 
shell of national culture created a "pragmatic barrier" among communicants. The concept of 
pragmatic constraint has zero value for the speaker, where only the listener's position is 
taken into account. In our opinion, the socio-cultural incompetence of the addressee caused 
the pragmatic obstacle here. The writer used the fact that the situation arose within the 
framework of representatives of one language as a methodological tool and achieved the 
impressiveness of artistic speech. 
Competence requirements such as the ability of a person to be able to 
effectively use language to communicate in society, to express his opinion clearly and clearly, 
to understand the interlocutor's opinion, to understand artistic works, to be influenced by 
them, national and ethnic characteristics, rules of etiquette, customs, traditions and rituals 
is formed on the basis of a number of universal and national values. These characteristics 
are manifested in the discursive activity of the language carrier.
