The power receiver consumes active and reactive power. The active and reactive

performs work and is transformed into other types of energy: mechanical, heat, light,

in the transformers of the power plants, 6.5% of the power supply is in the autotransformers 
of the 110-750kV substations, 13.5% is in the voltage-reducing transformers of the 6-10kV

Compensation of reactive power means its production or consumption with the help
