RESEARCH - 2022 30 It reflects the author's dreamy words about the happy past, his hatred for the fat man, and his gratitude to Allah. The three listed aspects are turned in the translation text as a means of comparative images. In Leyden-Erskin's translation: "... Samarkand had been the capital of my family. A foreign robber, one did not know when he came, had seized the kingdom, which dropped from our hands. Almighty God now restored it to me, and gave me back my plundered and pillaged country» 5 (Samarkand was the capital of the dynasty to which I belonged.) it translates as "returned". 6 Babur publicly asserts that the succession to the throne of Samarkand belongs to him, saying that Shaibani Khan, who conquered the city, was a complete stranger to this country and described him as a "foreigner". This combination is given in the form: "A foreign robber", the translation of the word "fat" into "robber" in English does not reflect the pragmatic nature of the translation. In fact, it is given as "fat", i.e. "enemy". This combination is applied to Shaibani Khan, who first conquered Samarkand. The word "robber" given in the translation in English explanatory dictionaries: 1. There is a meaning of a person who steals something from a person or place (invader). So, the meaning of the word "oil" used by Z.M. Babur is not fully revealed in the translation from a pragmatic point of view. It would be appropriate if this compound "yot yoghiy" was translated into English as "conqueror". The meaning intended by the author is reflected in pragmatic compatibility. Because this word in English is "a person who conquers" and its verb form is "to take control of a country or city and its people by force" (to take control of a country or its people by force). have meanings. The use of the word "conqueror" increases the effectiveness of the sentence. Considering that this description is Babur's first assessment of Shaibani Khan's personality, every word in the text shows the skill of the author in creating a portrait. At the same time, it allows to understand the subtextual comparison of the personalities of Babur and Shaibani Khan. In the phrase "what kind of oil" appears in the text, a negative ottenka (subtlety of meaning) is clearly felt in relation to Shaibani Khan. Historically, this person is no stranger to the land of Mowarounnahr, but the reproach of Babur, the past owner of the estate, seems appropriate. 5 Leyden J., W.Erskine.
