The program’s goals are to maintain his- toric and architectural integrity, improve neighborhood appear- ance, and help property owners make exterior repairs to their homes, while increasing property values for all borough resi- dents. Arriving in New York for a brief stopover, he might have come and gone without incident...were it not for a No-Maj (American for Muggle) names Jacob, a misplaced magical case, and the escape of some of Newt’s fantastic beasts, which could spell trouble for both the wizarding and No-Maj worlds. With the screenplay by J.K. Rowlings and directed by David Yates, this film stars Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Dan Fogler, Alison Sudol & Colin Farrell. Admission is free. Join the Slate Belt Heritage Center for their bus trip to the National Civil War Museum in Harrisburg, PA, on Satur- day, September 16, 2017. On Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at 7:00 p.m., the Sixth Annual Mass in honor of St. Roch will be celebrated at the closed church on Second Street, West Bangor. The Rev. Msgr. Vincent P. York, pastor of St. Elizabeth Catholic Parish will be the celebrant. Parishioners and friends of the former St. Roch Church are in- vited to participate in this Annual Mass. Each year since 2012, the Diocese of Allentown has granted permission to celebrate the Mass in honor of St. Roch, the Patron Saint. Included in the Mass will be the liturgy, music and readings in honor St. Roch.
