The main goal of the subject "Fundamentals of small business and entrepreneurship" is that students pay special attention to the development of small business and entrepreneurship in our country. Because the development of small business and entrepreneurship is a strategic task of the economic policy of our country. Today, this field is not only for accelerating the growth of the economy, but also for our country, it is extremely important for our country to increase employment and incomes of the population, to improve the well-being of people, and to form appropriate knowledge, skills and qualifications.
To achieve this goal, science performs tasks of forming students' theoretical knowledge, practical skills, methodical approach to financial events and processes, and scientific outlook. The following requirements are set for the knowledge, skills and qualifications of students in science:

As part of the issues to be implemented in the process of mastering the subject of "Small Business and Entrepreneurship Fundamentals", a bachelor's student:

- the nature and meaning of small business and entrepreneurship, the role of small business and entrepreneurship in the economy, organization of small business and entrepreneurial activities, planning and analysis of small business and entrepreneurial activities, management of small business and entrepreneurial activities, small business and entrepreneurial banking, to have an idea of ​​ways to increase the efficiency of small business and entrepreneurship activities, relationships with organizations such as tax, insurance, customs;

- about the directions of development of small business and entrepreneurship, about the criteria defining small business and entrepreneurship, about the state support of small business and entrepreneurship, about the experience of foreign countries in the state support of small business and entrepreneurship. To know about the taxation of small businesses and entrepreneurial entities, the types of taxes and tax benefits received from them, to increase the economic efficiency of small businesses and entrepreneurial activities, and to be able to use them;
- establishment of a new enterprise, procedure for its state registration and obtaining a license, feasibility study and business plan development, management of a small enterprise, economic analysis of the activities of small enterprises, marketing in small businesses and entrepreneurial entities should have skills on the methodological bases of organizing activities.
