Career Alumni Association (CAAS) 

Session 2012 - 13 

To  interact  with  the  former  students  of  Career  College  and  Career  College  of  Law,  the  Career  Alumni 

Association  (CAAS)  was  invited  an  alumni  meet  on  17

th

  March  2013.  Dr.  (Smt.)  Swarna  Gumashta  (  an  Ex-

Staff of Career College), Dr. (Smt.) R. B. Kushwah (an Ex-Principal Career College) and Dr. R. S. Kushwah (an 

Ex-Principal  Career  College  of  Law)  were  the  chief  guest    for  the  juncture.  New  bridges  were  built  and 

partnerships were forged. It was time of reflecting, remembering the good old times and memories of the 

Alumni  and  looking  forward  with  a  sense  of  purpose  and  anticipation.  Dr.  P.  N.  Tiwari,  Principal  of  Career 

College briefly shared the Vision, our areas of focused work and the specific needs. Dr. Kavita Ratnaparkhi, 

Vice  Principal  of  Career  College  gave  a  report  on  the  activities  of  the  organization  for  the  academic  year.  A 

Cultural  programme  was  also  presented  by  the  students  for  welcoming  the  alumni.  The  alumni  besides 

expressing  their  views  on  the  changes  undergone  by  college  have  also  given  their  suggestions  for  the 

improvement  of  the  institution  further.  The  senior  most  Ex-Student  Shri.  Atul  Kumar  Pande  was  honoured 

with  a  shawl  and  shreephal  who  pursued  B.Ed.  in  1971.  The  meeting  ended  with  vote  of  thanks  by  Prof. 

N.K.Thapak, Principal of Career College of Law.  

The Alumni accordingly responded with joy, willingness to help and partner in various ways. We are looking 

forward  for  a  greater  partnership  with  Alumni  in  the  days  to  come  as  we  seek  to  serve  the  college 

community well.
