Caspian public university academic policy

Individual curriculum (IC)is curriculum, which is formed for each academic year by students independently using an advisor on the basis of an educational program and a catalog of elective disciplines and (or) modules.

37.	Master’s/PhD program student’s individual curriculum is a document reflecting the learning (theoretical learning) and research (research/experimental research) trajectory of the student's mastery of the Master's/PhD education program.
38.	Information technology of distance learning is technology of creation, transfer and storage of educational materials on electronic media, information and communication technologies of organization and support of educational process.
39.	Research training is a type of professional practice of students of Master's and PhD programs, which is carried out in order to familiarize them with the latest theoretical, methodological and technological achievements of Kazakhstan and foreign science, with modern methods of scientific research, processing and interpretation of experimental data, as well as to consolidate the practical skills of their application in dissertation research.
40.	Qualification Examination is the procedure for determining the degree to which students have mastered the scope of educational disciplines and/or modules and other educational activities provided for in the educational program in accordance with the State general mandatory standard of the corresponding level of education.
