MY FUTURE PROFESSION
Many roads are open for youth in our republic. Anybody can learn at school, but it is not an easy thing to choose a future profession. Some people follow the advice of their parents. Others cannot decide even after leaving school. My future profession is a teacher of a secondary school. It is a noble and interesting profession but at the same time teaching is a very difficult job of great responsibility and specific character. Today high demands are made of teachers' professional knowledge, skill and morals. The modern teacher has to solve many important problems. He must not only teach children his subject, but bring them up and prepare them for life and labor. A good teacher is not only a communicator of knowledge but a model of competence. He forms attitudes to his subject and attitudes to learning. A good teacher must always regard capacities and interests which his pupils have.
