Arda ARIKAN is a professor of English Language Teaching and currently works at
Akdeniz University, Turkey. He holds a bachelor’s degree in American Culture and
Literature from Hacettepe University, Turkey, and a doctoral degree in Curriculum
and Instruction from Pennsylvania State University, University Park, PA, U.S.A. Some
of his interests include language teacher education, cultures and literatures, skills
teaching, materials development and qualitative research.
He is also passionate
about and works for environmental issues and animal rights.
