ABSTRACT OF THE MASTERS' DISSERTATION ON THEME
"Diatom algae of Chirchik city water bodies".
Relevance of the topic of the dissertation: identification of taxonomic composition of diatom algae and indicator-saprobic species of water bodies of Chirchik city, their use in monitoring the sanitary-epidemiological condition of water is one of the important issues.
Object and subject of the master's thesis: Chirchik city reservoirs: Chirchik river, Bozsuv canal and small water bodies were selected as objects of scientific research. Taxonomy, floristics, ecology, succession of diatom algae of Chirchik city water bodies were selected as the subject of scientific research.
The purpose of the master's thesis: to determine the species composition of diatom algae of Chirchik city reservoirs, to study their seasonal succession, to carry out a large-scale analysis of species and to identify indicator-saprobic species in determining the ecological sanitary condition of water reservoirs.
