MOTIVATION LETTER
I am a professional travel consultant with Bachelor`s of science degree in Guide and translation services who can make you visit Central Asia Silk Road destinations knowing just one of your interests or hobbies.
There I learned that developed tourism industry can be a faster a remedy to eliminate economic problems and poverty reduction. Thus, I wrote my final assignment for bachelor`s degree on correlation of tourism development and economic growth in Asia. Further in 2016, I got employed at a travel company to do the field work, to see how theory works in practice.
I am planning to study the role of increased income from tourism in economic growth of European countries and steps taken to reach prosperity in the industry to find out if similar strategies are applicable for Uzbekistan as well.
For the last 2-3 years, the government of Uzbekistan has been encouraging tourism industry by introducing new laws and regulations focused on simplifying the procedures associated with tourist flow to Uzbekistan. The Tourism Committee is actively promoting Uzbekistan as a historical destination on the Silk Road on popular international TV channels, at travel exhibition and journals.
Citizens of about 100 countries are allowed to visit Uzbekistan without visa from 1 February, 2019.
