Warm-blooded vertebrate animals ( animals with spines) and they typically have hair or fur. They also give birth to live young. Examples: horses, dogs and cats.
Animals with gills and they don’t have limbs or digits ( fingers and toes). They live in water and lay eggs to reproduce. Examples: Sharks, goldfish and octopus.
Vertebrates with wings and feathers. Most types of birds can fly
( exceptions include penguins). They also lay eggs. Examples:
parrots and flamingos.
Cold-blooded vertebrate animals with dry, scaly skin that lay soft eggs on land. Examples: crocodiles and snakes.
Cold- blooded vertebrates that begin life breathing through gills and living in water, then growing into adults with lungs. Many amphibians live both in water and on land. Examples: frogs and toads.
