Comparative characteristic of the English structure grammar with Uzbek language.
Language is one of the most important aspects of human communication. Different languages have their unique structure and grammars that distinguish them from each other. English is an Indo-European language family. Uzbek is a Turkic language that is spoken in Uzbekistan and other neighboring countries. This paper aims to compare the characteristics of English structure grammar with the Uzbek language.
English structure Grammar
The structure of English grammar is characterized by several unique features. One of the most notable features of English uses auxiliary verbs “to be” is used to express different forms of the present tense such as “I am”, “you are”, “he/she/it is”, and “we /they are. The auxiliary verbs “have” is used to express the present perfect tense such as “have” is used to express the present perfect tense such as “I have eaten”.
