INTRODUCTION

In the Comments on the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Mirziyayev Sh.M. about the “Strategy of Motions on the more development of the Republic of Uzbekistan” was mentioned that in the years of independence there had been done much work and complex measures on the building legal democratic state, powerful citizens’ society, develop an economy based on the free marketable terms and steady of private property, making conditions for the living of the people in peace and prosperous. A great attention was paid to the developing the educational system of the country emphasizing learning and teaching Foreign Languages [1].


The first president of the Republic of Uzbekistan I. Karimov spoke about the role of science in teaching system of our country mentioned that “In modern conditions we cannot discuss the matter of progress divorced with the question of science development. Today it is important for us to form a Science Academy and Centers of Higher Education, new laboratories and organize coorelated work with the advanced foreign centers of Science. Time tells us that this is one of the most important matter for today”. “ We must to work out as quick as we can the methodology of studying foreign languages based on the national qualities of Uzbekistan ” [2].
The actuality of the research work is the fact that students who do not speak English as their first language are referred to as English language learners or ELL students. The main reason that they do not pay attention to the stylistic feature of the word they are learning or using. Not being able to communicate or understand English can hinder their learning. Educators of ELL students have a primary goal is to provide instruction in English, so they can become proficient learners. This fact is considered as the practical study of the research work.
The aim of the research work is to hold the investigation in the field of lexicology of English language, to distinguish the difference between spelling, pronunciation and usage formal and informal layer of the language.
According to the aim of the research work the following tasks come out:
- to study the influence of historical events to the English language;
- to study the difference between formal scientific language and slang;
- to define difference between studying formal and informal language;
- to analyze methods of teaching formal and informal Language;
- to define the difference between usage of formal and informal English.
The level of study of the theme is high enough, as the research material is mostly based on the difference of the pronunciation and usage of words (American and English ones), division them into such stylistic layers as slang, jargons, historical ones, it covers a wide field lexical sphere which has been studying for many years.
