Procedure of the lesson: I. Organizing moment: Motivation, Greeting, checking attendance, season, weather, checking the preparation for the lesson. - Check for homework given on past lesson. - Ask pupils all new words learnt on previous lesson. II. Pre-activity: Write tenses that learnt in previous lesson, play challenge game. Challenge the class to think of a verb for as many letters of the alphabet as they can. III. Main part Pre-teach eat out: have the class look at the photos and text titles in this unit and ask ‘Are the people in this unit eating at home?’ (no) ‘What are they doing?’ (they are doing different activities). Remember, it's really important to know the verb forms inside out, so you can make the tenses without thinking. If you know how to make the tenses really well, you can concentrate only on choosing when to use them, which is more difficult. These exercises will help to make the verb forms automatic. Activity 1. Look at the pictures and mtach them to written activities. Ask the students to look at pictures and match to given ten sentences. They have to the name of the activity and put them in coreect tense Answers: Playing singging rading jumping making playing cooking riding a bike flying making. Activity 2. Match the pictures boxes to the sentences Encourage the students to do this exercise in pairs leaving out the words they don’t know. Point out they can use the words in both the box and also in the advertisements. Then, go over the answers as a class and encourage a volunteer to come to the board and draw a picture of each person that doing activities Answers: I am going to watch a movie at Inox. (go) We are playing in the nearby park. (play) The boys are swimming in the pond. (swim) Rita is singing at the function. (sing) The child is playing baseball. (play) The chef is cooking his famous ravioli. (cook) The teacher is teaching the students. (teach) I am reading Aladdin and the Magic Lamp. (read) The man is riding a Royal Enfield. (ride) Sheema is practising for her dance performance. (practise) The boys are annoying everyone present at the party. (annoy) My mother is knitting a sweater for my sister.
