Le Présent du Subjonctif (Present Subjunctive) – used to express or
describe the following:
A command
A condition contrary to fact
A suggestion or preference
To express doubt , fear, sorrow, or some other emotion
When conjugating in the Present Subjunctive, the verb’s present participle
form is used as the base. Present Participle forms end with –ant for both
regular and irregular verbs.
To get the Perfect Subjunctive tense, the –ant is dropped and replaced.
