Cristina Kirchner’s Life

• Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner was born on February 17, 1953 in La Plata, Buenos Aires, Argentina. Her father Eduardo Fernandez was from a Spanish heritage and her mother Ofelia Esther Wilhelm was from a German heritage. During the 1970s she attended the national University of La Plata where she studied law and also met her future husband Nestor Kirchner.
