have to learn history.
5. How can people learn about history?
I think, by googling, I mean people can look up information related to any
historical period or event and Wikipedia or other websites that contain educational
content will provide them with tons of information both in text and video format,
that’s is a big privilege of today’s generation, I believe. Plus, they can visit historical
sites or museums and get information from a guide, you know when you visit a
museum, you usually can hire a guide and ask any information, so yeah.
6. How can technology make learning history more interesting?
Yeah, by incorporating technology into a history lesson, teachers can liven
up their lesson, nowadays it is difficult to engage students in a lesson by only text
books, instead teachers can show a video or present any kind of information with the
help of photos that represent a particular period or anything related to their subject.
For example, most youngsters like watching war films and teachers can play a film
that depict a war between countries instead of lecturing it, and then students can be
more interested in history.
7. Why is it that some leaders fail to learn from history?
I think it is down to their character, some leaders might be too confident about
their abilities and they think time has passed since previous leaders’ time, they might
think things are different now and those rules or let’s say strategies of governing a
country might not be applicable today. Plus, there is a misconception that leaders
only should look forward, that’s why they are likely to forget about looking back
and making conclusions out of them and end up making the same mistake.
