The main reason why more and more people prefer to keep themselves
updated with latest news using the Internet is that it is way easier and quicker to
receive news, I mean if people use the internet, they can access the information
instantaneously whereas on TV, they need to follow the showtime which is
infinitely difficult considering the fact that people are becoming less patient
nowadays. Plus, it might seem boring for people to passively watch and listen to
news on TV as TV is not an interactive means of mass media.
5. What are the most and the least popular apps in your country?
The most common app among my country people would definitely be
Telegram, because first of all, it is user friendly meaning easy to understand the
instructions and also it has multiple functions, for example you can create a private
group and discuss some sort of stuff with your colleagues or friends and chat, second
of all, it is cheaper to use, I mean it consumes less mobile traffic as opposed to
other means of social media platforms. As for the least popular apps, I believe, they
would be health related ones. I think health related apps are mostly used by
sportspeople, they use them to keep track of the calories that they consume or burn.
