Activity 1 Listen and repeat. 5 min

Objectives: to introduce the unit topic; to warm up

STEP 1: Ask the pupils to listen to the song and say what this song is about. Play the DVD.

STEP 2: Play the DVD again and ask them to repeat the song.

3. 
   Main part . Activity 2 Work in pairs. Look and match. 5 min
   

Objectives: to help establish the meaning of words; to practise the pronunciation of words

STEP 1: In pairs the pupils look at the pictures and match them and the words in their exercise books. STEP 2: Say the words one by one. The pupils should repeat in chorus, then in rows and/or individually. Answer key: 1b; 2c; 3a; 4e; 5d
