Dear Global UGRAD Admission Board, 

Hereby  I  would  like to  give  my highest  recommendation  to  Omon  Ochilov  in  his  effort  to  get 

admitted to the Global UGRAD program. Having worked at ______(university), I must say that 

it is rare that we have such brilliant students as Omon.  

Even though his marks were not high in the 1st year of his studies, I didn’t hesitate to give him 

my recommendation because of his versatile personality and his  significant contribution to the 

university. It is challenging to study at our university due to a big number of subjects (ranges 

from 9 

– 13 per semester), and I have seen him growing academically up to now. Especially 

impressive grades he receives from his specialization disciplines, which are taught by professors 

from  Moscow.  Their  courses  are  intensive  due  to  a  modular  format.  Nevertheless,  Omon 

demonstrates  outstanding  cognitive  and  analytical  skills  while  studying  those  disciplines.  His 

exceptional interest in his majoring field always keeps him motivated towards active participation 

in the lectures and seminars. At the same time, he has developed good time-management and 

multitasking skills, coping with challenges, and always keeping a positive attitude.  

As  I  mentioned  before,  Omon  is  a  many-sided  and  altruistic  person.  One  of  his  greatest 

advantages is his excellent command of English. The most  outstanding project Omon has led 

was the Petro English club (PEC), where once in two weeks he used to hold free extra classes 

of  technical  English  for  students.  I  have  personally  attended  the  club  and  must  admit  the 

simplicity and effectiveness in his way of conducting the lessons. Especially helpful he was when 

we hosted a  student delegation from the  National  University  of Singapore  (NUS)  in  mid-May 

2018. With his team, he could make the delegation feel comfortable by  leading a tour around 

the university and socializing along the way. It became that interesting for our students, that they 

even decided to see the delegation to their hotel and meet again the next day. It was all thanks 

to Omon. 

In addition, I know Omon as a creative person. I often see him on the stage performing at the 

concerts of the university. He is a great singer and he always manages to impress the public 

with  his  artistic  manners.  Moreover,  he uses his  talent  to  a  higher-end  by  organizing  charity 

concerts with his team at schools for the disabled and orphanage houses. This is very noble of 

him. To acknowledge his commitment to the social life at university

, he was awarded a “Singer 

of the Year” title in 2019. 

To conclude, I am strongly assured that Omon is going to achieve great accomplishments in his 

future career and life because of his diligent, highly motivated, and inspiring personality. He is 

one of a kind and he will bring considerable value to your university 

while pursuing his master’s
