Dear Hiring Manager,
I am writing to express my interest in the Backend Node Javascript Developer position at Payever. With my 3+ years of experience in web development and REST APIs, as well as my strong proficiency with Javascript/ES6 and knowledge of Node.js and Express, I am confident that I would make a valuable addition to your team.
As a Bachelor's degree holder in Computer Science and with experience in OOP, design patterns, asynchronous programming, microservices, concurrency and transactions, I have the technical skills necessary to integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server side logic, write reusable, testable, and efficient code, and design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications. I also have experience working with various relational and NoSQL databases such as MySQL/PostgreSQL, Oracle, Mongo, Redis, and I understand the fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
I am also familiar with Git, and have experience with TDD, preferably with Mocha and Chai, Fastify, RabbitMQ and Typescript. I am fluent in English, and possess a collaborative, open-minded and helpful approach to teamwork, I approach obstacles with a logical and pragmatic approach and I am always looking for ways to improve things.
I am excited about the opportunity to work on several of Payever’r products, spending 3 to 6 months on each project, and I am confident that I can acquire new insights and develop my skills as I grow with Payever.
