DISCIPLINARY HEARING

Further to the letter of 14/09/22 I am writing as the assigned Hearing Officer to confirm the details of your Disciplinary Hearing.

This Hearing will be held by Sally Rose (Hearing Officer) and will be recorded on Collaborate.

Date of Hearing: Monday 24^th October 2022.

Time of hearing: 09:00
Location: Streaming Room 90 on Collaborate (please ring 07738 099888 if you have difficulty accessing the room)

I will be relying upon the Investigation outcome report sent to you on the 14/09/22 at the hearing.

Please note that, in accordance with the Student Discipline Regulations:

You have the right to be accompanied to the hearing by a friend or relative; the role of the accompanying party being one of support only. The Student Union can provide someone to accompany you, if you wish ([e-mail]). You are not entitled to bring a legal representative. Should you choose to be accompanied, please notify the Hearing Officer in advance of the hearing of the name of the person who will be accompanying you to the hearing.

You have the right to submit written evidence prior to the hearing; should you choose to do so, please ensure such evidence is provided to the Hearing Officer at least two clear working days before the date of the hearing.

Please email [e-mail] & Sally Rose by 14^th October 2022 to confirm whether or not you will be attending the hearing. If you are unable to attend, please provide the reason. Where possible, we will try to re-schedule the hearing.

Should you not request that the hearing be re-scheduled and you fail to attend, the matter will be determined in your absence, in accordance with the Student Discipline Regulations.

You will receive details of the outcome of the disciplinary hearing within 14 calendar days of the date of the hearing.
