If companies are about to launch new products, they employ many ways to advertise them. Many of them allocate funds for sports as capture the attention of the general public about their products, which results in mutual benefits for the companies and sportsmen. However, from my point of view, sponsoring sports events comes at the risk of losing money, while it can change people’s perception about sports.

On the one hand, firstly, if companies donate money for sports athletes and sports event, this will in turn bring money into the budget of these companies. This is because this improves the chance of companies rising the awareness of the public about the new products. As a result, people are informed about them and are likely to buy companies products, meaning companies would make a profit. Another argument which works in the favour of allocating money for sponsoring sports events is that this kind of advertising help sportsmen to become financially independent. Instead of spending money on equipment which costs a lot for sportsmen, they can rely on the funds given by companies.
On the other hand, problems
Ideas for the second position: advertising smoking, alcohol. Company: There is risk of losing money. Because Additional expense for the company if advertising does not bring money into the budget of the company. Sports: it changes people’s perception about sportsmen. When they advertise the products which are illegal to advertise, such as alcohol, sigarrettes.
