The relevance of the dissertation research is determined by the need for a multidimensional analysis of occasional words and a holistic analysis of A. Blok's occasional lexemes .
The scientific novelty of the study is due, firstly, to the lack of knowledge of the idiostyle A. Blok ; secondly, the need to describe the occasional and potential vocabulary in the writer's texts in the anthropocentric aspect and determine the main functions of the analyzed words.
The object of the dissertation research is A. Blok's occasionalisms . The subject of the study is the structural and semantic features of occasional lexemes, as well as the poetic function implemented by these units.
The purpose of the dissertation work - the identification of occasional words in the texts of A. Blok and their analysis in the structural-semantic and functional aspects.
Achieving this goal involves solving the following tasks:
• consider the specifics of ordinary and occasional words in linguistics;
• define criteria for distinguishing between potential and occasional words;
• characterize the structural and semantic features of occasionalisms in A. Blok's texts ;
• highlight the main ways of introducing occasional words into the context;
• to reveal the features of the functioning of occasional words in the poetic and prose works of A. Blok ;
• determine the main functions of occasionalisms;
• develop a fragment of the dictionary of occasionalisms, taking into account their meaning and contextual use.
To implement the tasks set in the dissertation, various methods of linguistic research are used . Observation of the analyzed linguistic facts, generalization of theoretical studies. The main research method in the work is descriptive, which involves the development of a system for the complex analysis of occasional words. The method of component analysis is used to study the semantics of occasionalisms. The statistical method allows you to establish the frequency of use of occasional lexemes in speech.
