More and more young people from wealthy countries are spending a short time in
communities in poorer countries doing unpaid work such as teaching or building
houses.
Why? Who benefit from this, the community or these young people?

In recent years, the structure of a family and the role of its members are gradually
changing. What kinds of changes can occur? Do you think these changes are positive
and negative?

Money can make people happy.

Some people think it would be a good idea for schools to teach every young person how to be a good
parent.
Do you agree or disagree with this opinion? Describe the skills a person needs to be a good parent.
Current young couples lack necessary parenting skills resulting in several family issues later. Therefore, according to some, school children have to be introduced main skills and features that make people good parents as a mandatory subject at school. However, I think this policy may have some negative outcomes on students’ academic performance, and I believe perfect parents should have adequate religious and world-related knowledge as well as good communication skills.
Body 1:
Firstly, the introduction of parenting classes at school can be an extra workload for school children as they are mostly involved in various courses such as science subjects, art classes and foreign languages. In fact, this parental subject is likely to rob their valuable time to be engaged in home assignments from other more important subjects that may lead to poor academic performance and results in the long-run. Secondly, good parenting skills can be mostly acquired more practically rather than theoretically. To clarify, as a compulsory school subject, they can be taught these skills with the help of any textbook that covers more theoretical explanations or by the teacher who may not be experienced enough as a parent.
Body2:
There exist various crucial skills to be a good parent. Firstly, parents should be able to teach their off-springs how to differentiate virtue and vice from religious perspectives and persuade them to avoid bad habits from younger age. Moreover, they are required to give sufficient explanation if kids come across any difficulties with their home assignments. Secondly, good parents must be able to communicate with their children closely by providing them with pivotal feedback and comments on their actions and children should feel secured due to the support and encouragement by their parents.
In conclusion, I do not support the practice of conducting a parenting course at school since it can be waste of time for schoolchildren because it is mostly learnt from practical perspective, and I believe that every parent should be knowledgeable and communicative enough to educate and give proper nurture for their kids.
Some people believe government should spend money on building train and subway lines
to reduce traffic congestion. Others think that building more and wider roads is the better
way to reduce traffic congestion. Discuss both views and give your opinion.
