Today I will tell you briefly about Ernest Hemingway's The Old Man and the Sea "Ernest Miller Hemingway (July 21, 1899 – July 2, 1961) was an American novelist, short-story writer, and journalist. "He published seven novels, six short-story collections, and two nonfiction works. Three of his novels, four short-story collections, and three nonfiction works were published posthumously." he was awarded the 1954 Nobel Prize in Literature" "The Old Man and the Sea is a novella written by the American author Ernest Hemingway in 1951 in Cayo Blanco (Cuba), and published in 1952.[1] It was the last major work of fiction written by Hemingway that was published during his lifetime. One of his most famous works, it tells the story of Santiago, an aging Cuban fisherman who struggles with a giant marlin far out in the Gulf Stream off the coast of Cuba the main characters of the story are old man Santiago and young man Manolin Santiago is an old fisherman Manolin, a young man whom Santiago has trained since childhood On the 85th day, the old man, as usual, goes out into the gulf stream in his sailboat, casts a fishing rod, and at noon his luck runs out - a marlin fish about 5.5 meters long falls on the hook. the old man will stay in the sea for 3 days. finally he ties the fish to the boat and returns to the shore, but the sharks eat the flesh of the fish. Manolin meets him in his hut. the story ends with this. The main conclusion of the story is not to give up the goal. I recommend the story to people of all ages. List of films based on this story
