Сonclusion 
Phraseological units play an important role in the English language, since 
full-fledged communication, understanding of colloquial speech, and the ability to 
communicate at an intercultural level are based on the knowledge of phraseological 
units. 
Familiarization with the literature made it possible to find out that studies of 
such scientists as Kunin A.V., Shafrin Yu.A., Amosova N.N., Zhukov V.P. and 
others were conducted on the problems of using phraseological units in real 
communication. Practical work on this topic is of great importance, since the study 
of phraseological units contributes to the formation of oral-speech skills of 
schoolchildren, and therefore, a full-fledged communication process in a foreign 
language. 
We have identified the problem, goal, hypothesis, object, subject and tasks; 
all this has a theoretical basis, which reveals in the first and second chapters the 
sources of the origin of phraseological units of the English language and the main 
functions of phraseological units. It was possible to find out the meaning and 
functions of the use of proverbs and sayings in the process of communication. It 
was not possible to find in the methodological literature the technique of working 
with phraseological units, therefore, the methods of using phraseological units in 
the lesson were developed independently, which caused certain difficulties. 
Phraseological units are considered as a means of forming oral-speech skills 
of schoolchildren. The possibilities of teaching speaking using phraseological units 
are investigated. As a result of the analysis of the theory, a set of exercises using 
phraseological units has been developed. These exercises were applied in practice 
at the middle stage of training during the experimental research work. 
By translating theory into practice, it was possible to arouse students' interest in 
phraseological units, the desire to know them and use them in the process of 
communicating in a foreign language; to help children understand the meaning of 
phraseological units in general; to teach them to recognize them in the flow of 
speech and use them in communication. It was not possible to fully ensure that 
students memorize all phraseological units, the reason for which is the short time 
allotted for experimental research. 
Based on the results of the experiments, we conclude that the developed set 
of exercises is useful and effective for working at school in the process of forming 
communication skills, in particular, oral-speech skills, using communicative

phraseological units. The results of the experimental research work confirm the 
hypothesis put forward earlier. 
At this stage of the study, we can say that the purpose of this tutorial has 
been 
achieved, 
and 
the 
tasks 
have 
been 
implemented.
