Extra assignment option
Instead of the written exam, based on your requests 😊 I offer in this only course the following option:
Please write a policy paper about one of the following topics:

1. 
   How do you see the future for the EU-Russia relations?
   How would you advise an EU level foreign policy maker / important politician to deal with Russia in the case of the possible scenarios?
   
2. 
   How do you see Ukraine’s transatlantic integration? What are the possible scenarios and outcomes?
   
3. 
   What are the interests of France in the most important questions related to the future of the EU? (i.e. eurozone /Maastrich reforms, migration, energy, etc.)
   
4. 
   What are the interests of Germany in the most important questions related to the future of the EU? (i.e. eurozone/Maastricht reforms, migration, energy, etc.)
   
5. 
   How do you see the future of the Visegrád 4 cooperation? How could the members /Hungary enhance the content and the depth of the cooperation? In which questions are there possible future conflicts?
   
6. 
   Your idea that is similar as a policy paper but according to your interest 😊
   

A policy paper usually describes the possible future outcomes of the current situation, identifies the major interests of the stakeholders, possible conflicts, or fields of cooperation and draws a few conclusions.
Imagine yourself in the position of a specialist of the particular topic at a think tank or at a background institute of the foreign policy decision-making process. In this paper you can be even more creative as the outcomes are basically really uncertain, but in your position, there is no consequence of your suggestions at the moment and as you already know, I am always genuinely interested in your thoughts.
These are only the basic questions that I suggest to cover in this policy paper, so in case you have better ideas, please feel free to add them.
In terms of length, I ask approx 2500 words and please use the correct referencing when necessary.
As for the deadline: please upload it to the original home assignment folder - preferebly named after your name, so that the two assignments (the original and this one) will be added then after each other until the date that you register for (so if it is May 16 then till then, if it is June 3 then till then, and the last deadline is June 8). Please do not forget to register in the neptun, too.
