Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Final stage of series of exhibitions “Contemporary painting art of Uzbekistan” was held in Nanjing, capital of Jiangsu province in eastern China.
The exhibition, which was held at Southern-Eastern University, attracted large number of people, who are interested in Uzbek culture and paintings. It was organized by Fund Forum, Uzbekistan Art Academy, Consulate-General of Uzbekistan in Shanghai in cooperation with Chinese partners.
Some 70 paintings of famous Uzbek painters such as Akmal Nur, Marat Sadikov, Gafur Kadirov, Fayzulla Ahmadaliev, Hurshi Ziyahanov, and others were exhibited in three Chinese cities.
Southern-Eastern University is the top Chinese university in training of art specialists and architecture designers. It was over 20,000 students, including 4,000 foreign students and 8 students from Uzbekistan.
The fourth exhibition of the Uzbek painters in China attracted political circles of the region, business circles and culture specialists.
Within the exhibition, the organizers also held several lessons dedicated to the Uzbek painting art.
