Differential diagnosis.Differentiated from anthrax and malignant edema and bradsitis of sheep.
1. For anthrax - morphological signs of septicemia are clearly expressed, the pulp of the septic spleen floats, the blood is tarry, bloody discharge from natural orifices.
2. For malignant edema – muscle necrosis in the area of the infected wound, the spleen is unchanged or slightly enlarged.
3. When bradzot sheep – catarrhal-hemorrhagic, necrotic (erosive-ulcerative) inflammation of the abomasum and small intestine, serous edema of their walls.
How do you deal with animal corpses?Considering the persistence of the spore-forming pathogen emkar in the external environment, the corpse along with the skin is burned.
8. Taking and sending material for research. For research, pieces of affected muscles, tissue exudate, affected areas of connective tissue, as well as parenchymatosis are sent to the laboratorynal organs. The material is collected no later than 4 hours after the death of the animal.th. Skinning dead animals is prohibited; corpses are burned along with the skin or placed in a biothermal pit.
2.Introduction.In the northern countries (Iceland, Denmark, Norway, Scotland) sheep brazing has been known for a long time. It was initially diagnosed as anthrax. T. Krabbe (1875), based on an analysis of literary data and personal observations, came to the conclusion that this disease does not belong to anthrax, and described it in terms of its main symptoms. IN1888. I. Nilsson discovered the causative agent of bradsot. In the former USSR, the disease was first described in1929. K.P. Andreev, it is found in various geographical zones with varied climatic conditions. Of the anaerobic infections, the greatest losses among sheep are caused by brads and brads-like diseases. During an outbreak of bradsitis, up to 15-20% of the population of disadvantaged flocks is affected, the mortality rate in the hyperacute course of the disease reaches 100%. Particularly large epizootics occur in rainy years. In dysfunctional farms, bradzot is repeated annually. The occurrence of the disease is facilitated by sudden changes in the quality of food (a large amount of young, juicy grass), as well as disorders resulting from protein and mineral deficiency, or overheating of the body, helminthiases.
