Step3. Procedure of the lesson

Activity 1 Spelling Dictation.

Objective: to practise spelling;

Ask PP to work in pairs. One spells words from a Word box in Unit 7 Lesson 5 which is in Classwork and Homework page, the other writes. Then they take turns. PP should choose 3-4 words from the Word box forspelling.

Step4 Consolidation

Activity 2 Work in groups. The baby wolves* don’t want to go to school.

Objective: to prepare for the next activity;

Divide the class into groups. They should describe an imaginary school. They may also draw a picture to illustrate their story. It is a competition between the groups. Tell them that the baby wolves will go to the best school.

e.g. Our school is great.

The first lesson is eating ice-cream. Describe an imaginary school. Talk about classrooms, timetable, classroom things and school rules.
