There are four ways of communicating and displaying the analyzed data. These are:
1. text
2. tables
3. graphs
4. statistical measures
Text
Text is the most common method of communication in research studies. It is essential to know
The style should:
have a balance between academic and scientific rigour
attract and sustain the interest of readers
have clarity of thought
be thematic: that is, written around various themes of the report;
Findings must be integrated into the literature citing references using an acceptable system of citation;
Findings must follow a logical progression of thought;
Findings must have attractive and pleasing to the eye layout.
Language, in terms of clarity and flow, must play an important role in communication.
