LITERATURE ANALYSIS AND METHODOLOGY
The linguo-cognitive approach allows entering a special field 
of research, where the focus is on phenomena of a linguo-cognitive 
nature, in which the word and the knowledge embodied in it (in the 
philosophical, historical and cultural understanding; see, for exam-
ple, in J. Assman [Assman, 2004]).
Y.N. Karaulov singled out the cognitive level in the structural 
organization of a linguistic personality. According to Y. N. Karaulov, 
this level is associated with the reflection of reality and involves the 
expansion of meaning and the transition from meaning to knowl-
edge, and therefore covers the intellectual sphere of the individual, 
giving the researcher an exit through language, through the process-
es of speaking and understanding - to knowledge, consciousness, the 
processes of cognition of the world by man. The units of this level are, 
according to Y.N. Karaulov, notions, concepts, etc., which are formed 
by each linguistic individuality into a more or less ordered, more or 
less systematized picture of the world, which reflects a hierarchy of 
values [Karaulov, 1987; 1989: 3-8; 1995: 63-65]. Consequently, the

cognitive level is most directly related to culture.
What is culture as a subject of research for a linguist, as a sig-
nified for a signifying language? 
According to D. Bakhronova, “Alisher Navoi also touched on 
the issues of relationship between language and speech, mental and 
speech condition of a person in his works; language - so much honor 
is the weapon of speech. If the speech turns out to be inappropri-
ate, it is a disaster of the language” [ Baxronova 2021,5]. So, linguists 
think that the foundation stone of cognitology was laid in ancient 
times.
Culture is what creates us and is created by us, what is con-
stant and changeable, what is unconscious and at the same time 
reflective, what underlies cultural self-identification and personal 
identification. In everyday practice, this worldview often remains 
“invisible” to an individual member of the community, although, it 
permeates our entire being. This worldview is tangibly manifested 
and becomes noticeable to a member of the community in the case 
when he encounters something different and alien.
