LEARNING PORTFOLIO ASSIGNMENT In a learning portfolio, students assume responsibility for documenting and interpreting their own learning. Through reflection, students make their thinking visible. Students explain what the evidence shows about what they have learned. They tell their own story. Assess their own strengths and weaknesses as learners, evaluate their products and performances, reflect on past learning, and think about future learning. (Zubizarreta, 2009, p. 303). PURPOSE
