DEFINITION/EXPLANATION
SAMPLE
Sampling refers to the number of people whose views you
collect for your evaluation study. If it is not possible to survey
everybody in the population of interest, you will need to select
a sample. Results from the people in your sample give you an
estimate of what the results would have been had the whole
population been surveyed. Samples can be randomly select-
ed, or non-randomly selected.
