Handwriting and typing

Through the assistance of technology people are utilizing less handwriting and more typing. Both of these writing styles have their own pecularities which are identical and distinctive to some extent. In the following paragraphs I will outline the differences and similarities of handwritten and typed formats of writen language.

Because of being typical means of writing, above-mentioned types do share some similarities. Firstly, both of them are basically used for documents. For example, notes can be taken both by handwriting and typing. Secondly, both of them are accomplished manually. For instance, whether we are making use of pen or phone to write, we do them with our hands. For these features they are slightly alike.

Conversely, the various aspects which they have are numerous too. Firstly, handwritten format is more emotional compared to typed one. For example, handwritten letter grabs one's attention at once as it gives some emotion unlike cold typed letter. Secondly, when we are writing we can outline our signature. Meanwhile, we can not stand such a chance through typing. Finally, we need special equipment for typing like typewriter or at least a computer. However, only a pen and sheet of paper is adequate for handwriting. Those are aspects which utter the differences of above-mentioned formats transparently.

In conclusion, typing and writing with a hand have their strengths and weaknesses that make them unique. Which one to select is determined by the writer.
