Effects can be preterm birth, problems in pregnancy, brain defects, or too small babies when born. Eating well during pregnancy is not just about eating more. When mother pregnant, what she eats and drinks is the basic thing. If mother is pregnant, she should it extra food for her baby. Growing baby needs calories for development, so her extra food shouldn’t be empty calories. It should provide the nutrients her growing baby needs. Calcium is one of the important nutrient. Because growing baby’s calcium demands are high, mother should increase her calcium consumption to prevent a loss of calcium from her own bones.
